Doc I was diagnosed with fibroids in 2018, I had prolonged periods for a number of months but there was no much pain so I was told that they will shrink after attaining my menopause am 52 years now but my periods are irregular I don't even know that I have reached my menopause because I stayed for almost 8 months without my pees but now it's almost every week I discharge blood which is not very heavy but I experience lower back pain and lower abdorminal pain, kindly advise the way forward or can I ask for your WhatsApp number so that I can get in torch with you for more help, thanking you in anticipation.

My posterior myometrium shows a large myometrial fibroid measuring 98 x 90 mm and both ovaries are obacured by large myometrial fibroid. I am 35, and will turn 36 in October. I am also yet to be married and want to preserve my uterus and fertility. There is no heavy bleeding. My period days are normal but I do get clots sometimes and extreme cramps for a day or two. Will UFE be best for me or laproscopic/myomectomy? I am inclined towards UFE though. Kindly do advise.

Sir when a fibroid size consider from then 85×79mm and now 69×65mm can you plz tell me what is the exact size of fibroid now in cm and is it reduced or not?

I'm having my uterus remove on the 24th due to multiple fibroids. This is hard not just physically but mentally. The anxiety, depression that this cause is no joke specially during the period. It gets worst.

Can they cause pain when going to the toilet also?

I had a ufe on major fibroids (uterus about 28 weeks equivalent to pregnancy). Well I do not regret the UFE because I always want to try something less invasive before I go to surgery, it didn't shrink my fibroids by much.... Now, a little over a year later, I'm looking at a hysterectomy. I still don't want a hysterectomy, but there is really nothing else I can do. Diet changes help reduce the inflammation in the UFE helped a bit, but sometimes you just have to go invasive.

1:10 only 60% people became pregnant, may i know that 40% are they not able to get pregnant bec of UFE? or they might have any other reasons?

Was my UFE a failure? I had 20 fibroids , one a very large pendunculated fibroid. I was very ill straight after the procedure very low blood pressure sweating profusely I came round to find the doctor struggling to raise my blood pressure and control my symptoms then and continual sickness for three days. I remained constipated for 14 agonising days. I was admitted for 3 days with an infection about a month later. Every month from there in during my period I had agonising cramps so severe to push out a tampax and became completely incontinent. My fibroids calcified and remained large the pedunculated fibroid was agony it remained large on the stalk but had some calcification . I never regained continence and experienced pain every month in winter months the pain of degrading was horrific. Today after menopause I can still tell when my period would have been . W Does anyone know what if anything went wrong. I can't believe this was a success. Went round and round to various gynacology appointments with one rating they were very pleased with the size of the pendunculated fibroid which had hardly changed. To be honest I'm pleased that they have suggested I go elsewhere. What went wrong.

Please Sir I multiple intramural fibriod, the largest is on the posterior myometrium, measures about 4.3cm * 3.59, please can I get pregnant without a miscarriage?

I’m 5mo out of UFE but my Radiologist never had me do an MRI and as of the last 6 weeks I’ve been dealing with two different UTI’s and BV and my pelvic area, especially where the largest fibroid (12cm) was located is hurting, especially if I exercise. Getting an MRI next week and FINALLY seeing an ONGYN tomorrow and have been so scared of worse diagnoses. Does this sound familiar?

This is interesting, my doc been trying to figure what is wrong with my right thigh for 4-5 years.

Right after my procedure this past monday i came on my period so I cant tell if the pain was from period or from ufe. But my period was NORMAL!! and not super heavy so far and no huge blood clots. Once my period is over ill update you.

Despite increased awareness about UFE and this doctor along with other doctors providing education through demonstrations, it remains disheartening to find women in fibroid forums on Reddit still reporting hysterectomies and multiple myomectomies. This situation is frustrating and should be criminal.
